WTF IS PINOT PALOOZA?

Good question. Like all good stories, it started over a bottle of wine in a restaurant where many were singing the praises of a certain grape variety called pinot noir.

Founded in Melbourne, Australia in 2012, Pinot Palooza was born out out us being we fed up with the usual “death by masterclass” classroom-style wine event. So, we called our winemaking mates in Australia and New Zealand and simply said: “We want to do a wine tasting event called Pinot Palooza. But make it fun.”

Fast-forward to today and the event is now held in 13 cities and 6 countries including AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, SINGAPORE, HONG KONG, JAPAN and now, the USA.

13 CITIES, 6 COUNTRIES

We’re a grassroots movement of likeminded wine folk hell-bent on celebrating the people, place and personalities of the greater global wine community; especially pinot noir makers. We live to celebrate the best small, family-owned, hands on wine makers who are all about making the best wine they can with as little intervention as possible. Organics and sustainability are what we’re about.

Since 2012, we’ve grown and grown yet we remain 100% independent. We’ve also published a magazine and regularly get out and visit the wine folk we champion. We’re all about collaboration, not competition and invite any and all to join us in a wine party to celebrate our favourite grape – with a rocking soundtrack, of course.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

We believe in making things easy, so at Pinot Palooza events ALL WINE TASTES are included in your ticket price. No set number of tokens. No purchasing of wine tastes. It’s all covered.

Plus, you get proper crystal wine glass to taste from and take home. Good wine demands it.

WILL THERE BE FOOD?

We know you can’t live on pinot noir alone (trust us, we’ve tried), so at every Pinot Palooza event we partner with awesome local restaurants to make sure you don’t go hungry.

OTHER DRINKS?

Winemakers often say a lot of beer goes into making great wine and we recon the same can be said for festivals. So yes, there will be beer to purchase on the day and in some cities we extend that offering to things like Vermouth, gin and more. Keep an eye closer to the event day to see the full list
