Hey Melbourne!

On a roll after sold-out events in Tokyo, Osaka, Perth, Auckland, Wellington & Christchurch (sheesh!) we’re super pumped to be back at the Royal Exhibition Building as part of our epic multi-city 2019 tour.

We invite you to prime your glasses and get stuck in exploring this year’s stellar line-up of pinot – and when you’re ready for a refreshment, come and check out the local craft beer and dedicated aperitivo station, Bar Vermouth.

Need a run-down? Here’s all your 2019 highlights.

Featuring more than 250 wines, our 2019 program boasts one of the biggest lineup of producers Pinot Palooza has ever seen.

NEW THIS YEAR – You said you wanted to make it easier to pick out the vegan, organic, biodynamic and lo-fi wines at our events, so this year we’re giving them to you on a platter – with icons!

Now, go study your wine list for some tips on how to navigate your way around the room!

Because we understand that one cannot live on pinot noir alone, this year we’ve gone all out on the food front – bringing in some of Melbourne’s top guns for the ride. Here’s a taster of who’s on board:

The need for a sparkling afternoon refreshment is especially real after tasting a room full of pinot, which is why we don’t take our beer and cider choices lightly.

Time for a palate cleanser? Make a pinot pitstop and refresh your palate with a restorative brew from our pals at Sailor’s Grave BrewingStone and Wood Brewing Co. and Willie Smith’s Cider.

Our People’s Choice award has fast become a Pinot Palooza highlight, with winners bathed in glory, cheered by fans and featured in the Pinot Palooza magazine each year.

This time ’round, we’re ramping things up with a dedicated awards ceremony where the winners from each city in the tour will be announced (all 11 of them), along with an overall global winner. The awards ceremony will take place at REVEL HQ on December 5, so stay tuned for more on that.

So what’s in it for you?

By simply voting you go into the draw to win 12 REVEL wine glasses and a REVEL Golden Ticket, which means you and a plus-one get access to any of our Melbourne events (or partner events) free for an entire year. Plus, you and three mates get to come to the awards night in December. Yass!

OK, so how do I vote? Just look for roving REVEL staff toting iPads or hit up the Info Desk.

Relax, guys – this mag isn’t about percentage points or star ratings or big words that no one understands, it’s about discovering what’s wonderful about the pinot noir.

Along the way you’ll meet some wonderful people and visit some of our favourite parts of the pinot world, while hearing from some of our favourite wine commentators. So fill your glass and settle in for the ride.

And yes, you’ll get a FREE copy at the event.
