The Mischief with Wine story is a story of two couples, two winemakers, two sisters and two paramedics. They are winemakers Adam and Anna, who have 30+ years of vintage experience between them and a distinct passion for fun, creative wines. On the accounts and logistics side (and everything in between) are Charlotte and Ryan, paramedics who share a love of wine and the North Canterbury region. Anna and Charlotte grew up in Rangiora, on the doorstep to the Waipara region. The love they have for the North Canterbury district has only grown since then.

Mischief with Wine started with a funky riesling and pinot gris and a moreish pinot noir, and they still focus on perfecting these. However, there are plans to expand the range when the time is right.

There’s no cellar door at present, but you can buy MWW wines through their website.  They’re also working on expanding distribution across both the north and south New Zealand islands, so keep an eye out at your local wine shop if you’re in NZ.

Best music to listen to during vintage?
Pretty much anything that keeps you going, sometimes old school or sometimes funky, or anything in between. As long it keeps your spirits up on those long days that never seem to end.
